Founded by Kurt Krueger and Ed Rhea from Monett, Missouri, Ledger Perfect was created through the combination of a leader in the banking industry and a CPA with years of small business and accounting firm technology expertise. What started out as a conversation regarding a product for MEA Financial Enterprises became a joint venture to serve the small businesses and financial institutions their respective companies serve. 

The large software providers have been hampered by their increasing need to drive stockholder profits and create new corporate profit centers. While the markets love profits, small firms are struggling with their technology partner becoming their competitor.  Ledger Perfect was built to give the small firm and financial institutions an alternative.

As we began discussions, a mutual acquaintance was struggling with an online accounting system in which a staff member double recorded all his transactions for the tax year.  If you have done any client accounting services, you probably know what we are talking about.  We then thought why not design a simple system to categorize transactions. It also became apparent that our society is transitioning away from desktop system to mobile apps.  Just interview a few clients about financial information and watch how many look at their smartphone.  Thus our systems primary focus was to create a smart device first bookkeeping system. This focus allows us to access an wide age range of owners which have increasingly found their smart device as their primary business tool.
